We invite you, our dear family and friends, to cheer on Amrita and Karthish as they tie the knot on July 6, 2019. It may be called Independence Day Weekend, but out of it will be born an even stronger union.

They’re both children of immigrants and engineers. If you’ve ever met them, you know that’s where the similarities end ☺. Their love is one of perfectly complementing each other.

Skeptical after being set up by their parents, they met on a warm summer day in Boston. They did what they love most on their first few dates - go on a college tour that included MIT, Harvard, UT Austin, and University of Minnesota. Recognizing their mutual love for college campuses (and eating cereal), they knew they had found true love.

They knew all too soon that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. With the out-of-nowhere-dancing of Bollywood and the getting-down-on-one knee of Hollywood, Karthish proposed to Amrita, surrounded by the love of their family and friends…

 He may have been the one getting down on one knee, but they had a lot of love and support getting here.
